And that's another thing! The juxtaposition of the drama and the humour. I LOVE that! I never get tired of that. And what do you think inspired Jim to do that? Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" which is full of weird juxtapositions of drama and humour, always this tension broken by sarcastic one-liners and black comedy about motherhood. It's genius. Please see the film, if you haven't of course, and burn the remake.
