| Even been nominated for an Oscar is recognition for that persons work. Alfred Hitchcock has been nominated 5 times which is pretty spectacular. Peter O'Toole has been nominated something like 8 times for Best Actor but never won. Jim made a shit load of money and no doubt has walls covered with silver, gold and platinum discs from Bat1. What recognition do you think he now deserves for it? > In 20th century entertainment? This could be a huge > overstatement, but I have to say Alfred Hitchcock and Jim > Steinman. Hitchcock never won an Oscar, or so I'm lead to > believe, and Steinman never got the proper recognition for > one of the greatest selling albums of all time. | |
