Now that you mention Warren, what I also found interesting about "I'd Lie For You" was that it not only seemed like a xerox of "Anything For Love" but "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)" as well. Listen to the latter, there's even lines with "I'd lie for you" and "walk the wild for you". In general, I can't stand Diane Warren's music. I'm glad for her success, truly, but she ruined Meat Loaf for me, she ruined Aerosmith and so many other things that I just can't forgive her for. Should have stucked with Michael Bolton and Celine Dion because that area was definitely her forte. Technically, she may have had more hits than Jim, but that's like comparing Sondheim and Lloyd Webber.
