In that case, Pudding's suggestions are on the mark. Those will give you plenty of adventure and excitement ... ;-)
Actually, first place that comes to mind is Queenstown, NZ. Bungee jumping ... white water rafting ... helicopter trips onto snow-capped mountains ... speedboat trips (boats that spin round) ... plenty of excitement right there.
