I've been trying to get a spare copy of the original cast album actually. I have it on vinyl but I blew up the speakers when I was blasting "Der Fliegende Hollander" (the Wagner opera) in the garage in 2003. "Sweeney Todd" is the crowned prince of the dark and gothic musicals!
What Muppets music? I play the soundtracks for "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and "Muppet Treasure Island" a lot. Paul Williams did the former, and he did "Phantom Of The Paradise", another favourite of mine. "When Love Is Gone" has got to be (here I go again, but I mean it) one of the most eerie and beautiful songs I have ever heard with "Love Led Us Here" close behind. Paul Williams didn't write that one, but Treasure Island also had a great soundtrack.
