Howdy, mah name is Doug. I had a nervous breakdown the other week, after I walked in on me wife and her best friend. Angie was the name. I remember her from the diner. I got into the tractor, turned on "More Than You Deserve", the anger swelling inside of me from minute to minute and mile to mile. Then I reached the store in the city, eight storeys high. Not many people about. "Everything Louder Than Everything Else" came on, then "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth" and "Paradise By The Dashboard Light", as I bulldozed the window, rode into the store, people scurrying about and pointin fingers. I rode up this damn frikkin escalator, all the way to the top, storey to storey, the songs by Jim Steinman blasting from the radio and my grip on the wheel. Crash, crash, crash, debris flying, no one got hurt, but I made plenty of mess. 18 security cops were chasing after me, calling for back-up, and I finally somehow got to the roof of the joint, driving on, on and on to the fade out "It was long ago and far away...so much better than it is today."
