I don't know how many versions there are. But "Vampires Dance" is not "God Has Left The Building", from what I'm told. The title first appears in association with the "Bat Out Of Hell 2100" screenplay from 1994. Jim also said it was a song for "The Final At Bat". There are lyrics, which didn't appear in the final production, in the Jim Steinman/November draft of "Dance Of The Vampires". But it's just 2 verses. I recited one of them in my opening introduction to "The Endless Appetite" on Merciless Night II.
