Oberhausen is famous for nothing!
But the Centro, Eurpes largest shopping mall, a copy of the Meadow Hall in Sheffield (UK) with the addition of an outside boulevard of restaurants, is located there next to the motorway.

The theatre is part of that Centro complex. Despite the masses of people passing that shopping mall all shows in that Metronom theatre suffered from poor ticket sales so far. It started with "tabaluga" a German kid-musical with a dragon in the lead. The roof of the theatre was build (and still looks)like the dragons head. Currently Blue Man Group fails to attract enough people there.

The arena at the opposite side of the Centro is just the average concert venue that has seen the likes of Meat Loaf or Kiss perform.

Oberhausen is located in the most populated part in Germany.
And the most famous thing to see in Germany, the spectacular Cologne Cathedral, is less than an hour away! And the International airport of Duesseldorf is close.

And maybe i should open up a "VampiresInn" for Steinfans here at my home, as its only 1 hour away! :-)
