| Hmmmm... My beloved Chelsea FC have just made the Champions League semi-final (bring on the scousers), and are moving-in on the Premiership (bye bye Mancs) LOL! Loved the UK ‘Office’...best sitcom EVER! Finchy: ‘Who is the leader of Cuba?’ Brent: Fray Bentos! Fucking genius! Haven't got round to watching the American version...yet. Completed the Reading Half-Marathon in March, without stopping, but I won’t mention the time. Beaten by my bro, damn it, who I used to run into the ground. Possibly running New York half-marathon in July, followed by Great North Run in October. Glutton for punishment! Best ever half-marathon time is 1hour 20mins, but that was long ago, and far away, and so much faster than I am today. Recently saw ‘Hairspray’ (stage show) in London, and it is excellent, especially Michael Ball (possible Captain Hook??), Leanne Jones & Ben James-Ellis (possible Baal/Peter Pan??) Wild mushroom risotto with taleggio is sublime, at ‘Brasserie Max’, Covent Garden Hotel. Money makes the world go round....I’m sinking deeper & deeper in the chilly Californian sand!! LOL! JD – There, that’s my brief update, but it would be nice to hear a brief update on how Jim is, and what he is doing...and he better not just say ‘totally consumed by a Bat’! LOL! | |
