I read on some online forums that paying silly money for a HDMI cable is a waste of time when you can pick a cheap one up for a few quid. It's a digital signal, so the wire shouldn't really have too much effect on quality. I bought a cable for 6.99 and it's superb!

my new TV is a Samsung 40" 1080p dogs bollocks one, but I haven't connected the 360 to it yet. Maybe tomorrow, when I get a bit of time. I have connected my 'upscaling' DVD player to it though, and it looks great.

Looking forward to playing the 360 through it very much!

My most recent games are:-

Assasin's Creed
Bioshock
The Club

but I always find myself going back to Oblivion: The Elder Scrolls IV, which was the game I first had with the xbox over 18mths ago, and still my favourite game ever. The graphics and sound are suberb (and will only get better through my new TV) and it's such a huge game, so many new places to see. Anyone have this?
