This is actually the first time I've checked the site in many months, so it was great to see the updates from all my old pals!

As for television - Pushing Daisies is the shiznit. I sing it love songs. But seriously now, I find the creativity in its dialog to be a thing of beauty.

As for MacDonald's - I recently changed my eating habits and discovered I was essentially malnourished before. I can't recommend healthy eating enough! The most important thing for me was the psychological effects it had. I feel much more present in my skin and just better at being myself.

As for my life - I got laid off and went to Cambodia. Travelling to the other side of the planet was really the only fiscally responsible way to respond. I spent two weeks wandering and writing throughout Angkor which has been the trip I've most wanted to take for as long as I can remember. It was absolutely beautiful and wonderous! But then I came back. If you hear of any theatre admin jobs that pay enough to cover low rental costs, healthy eating habits AND health insurance let me know! (not holding my breath).

As for the vixens - Merielle got hitched, and she's loving it! Janine and I are still trucking away on our musical. It's going to be amazing when we're finished! (dear god, when will be finished?!) But in general, there are few complaints coming from the NYC chapter.

Jackie - so happy to hear that after EVERYTHING your story had a happy ending! After the arduous journey to get there you deserve it. Hurray!

Happy to hear from you all! My dwindling savings mean I won't be going to Europe any time soon, but I'm sure we'll catch up in person ere too long. (is that how you spell "ere"?)

Laters!

- Emily
