| It depends how far out they are. If the production is over a year away (likely), then there is little point in starting a 'teaser' campaign. However, there are lots of 2009 productions 'leaking stuff' (Barnum, Phantom 2 etc), and with the advent of the net, Jim's blog is a logical place for 'some news' every 6-8 weeks, from his point of view? I've never understood why everything in the music industry has to be soooo secret (it's not MI5)? > although this is quite interesting, it is also sad that > this is the only official word on this weve got by now. > Of course its too early for the proper promo, but the > occasional press note from the production team or Jim > would be nice once in a while. > After all that keeps the public interest for the show up > (or would generate it at first). > Look at the now (finally in may wooohooo!) released > Indiana Jones IV, and see how before its release its been > teased and anticipated with changing info about actors > (sean connery was rumoured at one point i remember), etc > > The only reason for keeping that quite I can think of is > that the whole project isnt as certain as we think.
