But I know exactly what you're saying -- You're obviously hinting at him not being an international star, because I can quickly think of about 16 smash hit singles that he's had here in Australia, not to mention Australia's best selling album EVER.
But if the point of a concept album is to attract people to the project by attaching big names of interest to it, then Johnny Farnham ain't gonna be the guy to use :o). Not outside of Australia at least.
Mind you, I think that's why concept albums seem to shit me. From what I've heard of the Whistle Concept album, it's trying to be for Everyman, and landing somewhere in the middle, pleasing no one??
