I got back from Moscow 10.30 this morning, and still very sensitive!!
So near but so far. Fantastic atmosphere (from both sets of fans), and great game, which Chelsea should have won in the second half of normal time.
Was absolutely gutted when JT missed (more so than when Anelka missed).
That one moment is undoubtedly embedded for life into every Chelsea fans memory!
Think this game summed up the season, in that there was nothing separating two great teams (and don't any Mancs deny it)!
Got a feeling Fergie may call a press conference and retire in the next week or so??
More gutters:
1. No alcohol within about a 3 miles radius of the stadium. Had to venture into the city on the unbearably hot Metro.
2. Huge downpour as we left the stadium, on the one mile frog march back to the airport buses (only had on my Chelsea shirt & jeans).
3. Flew in/out of something called Vnokovo Airport which seems to have been built in the Dark Ages and hasn't been updated since. No planes, no crew, massive delays, 600 fans fighting to get on one 310 seater plane home (I did, and the boarding procedures went out the window). Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!
