| A song/poem I'm kicking around; feedback welcome. Hey Jimmy from mail room meet me tonight at the will-call line of the pop-punk show I got my ticket, got my t-shirt got'em both on-line, you know Man, this place ain't changed yeah I been here before think it was '91 or so Iron Maiden out on the "No Prayer" tour I can't believe it was so bloody long ago Well I'm 33 yeah here's my I.D. and bless your heart for asking I got a baby face and a young man's spark and in wasted youth I'm basking Hey who's that girl? And what's that tattoo? Its probably Asian for "beauty is pain" 'cause I don't understand and it hurts to imagine the things I might do if I just knew her name I'm the oldest guy at the Fall Out Boy show singing along to songs I'm not supposed to know Godzilla in a Mecha-Godzilla world The oldest guy at the Fall Out Boy show we used to call it "life" but now they call it "emo" misery and woe is me for I've fallen in love with a Fall Out Boy girl. | |
