You heard this from Meat Loaf? According to Meat, Jim didn't submit anything interesting for Bat III. I beg to differ. "Not Allowed To Love", "Braver Than We Are" and "Still The Children" are all excellent songs. Meat was wrong to say what he did about them. According to Meat, apparently, Jim hasn't written a good song in 10 years and he doesn't think he's able to write another good song. APPARENTLY! Again, I totally disagree with that. "What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most" shits all over that statement from Meat.

Look at the situation. There were 4 new songs for "Back Into Hell". There must be 8/11 new songs for "The Final At Bat" that the general public had never even HEARD. The only one that would have been familiar was "Braver Than We Are", but only Tanz fans would have recognised it.

If you want to look at it this way... Jim had an excellent creative period when he wrote "Bat Out Of Hell" and the new material on "Back Into Hell". The same sort of incident happened here but, this time, the world would never hear it. What they have heard has been a few small Dream Engine gigs and the promise for a major "Bat Out Of Hell" spectacular in London.

Oh, and Jim said there was a melody for "Paradise Lost". I don't know what THAT implies.
