If it's to happen first half of 2009, I think they need to start conceptualising & pitching the show to TV in the next month or so. > Despite what we all think of Rhydian, one thing's for > certain, his debut album is going to be hit, so why not > have a Jim song on it. His album will be a big hit in the UK (where it matters for the Bat show), and Jim needs to get at least one song on the album (the TDE production of 'Is Nothing Sacred' would work great, 'Body...' would work great, 'I'm Gonna Love Her For Both of Us'), and maybe a second track from the musical. He is also a deadringer for Peter/Baal, and I can't think of anyone better (at the moment) to be cast in the show. > Jims got a wealth of songs that is more than just Bat > ones, so resurrecting TDE and doing a proper tour would be > fantastic. SACK Rinkoff. > > Jim bringing out a greatest hits CD plus a compilation DVD > would be amazing. I think Jim should get his name 'back out there' BEFORE the Bat show opens, and releasing some product is the obvious way to go (a News of the World expose with incriminating photos, Max Mosley anyone, is not the way to go - LOL). TDE would have been great, towards the end of this year, but only Rinkoff knows how likely that is?? A Steinman Greatest Hits would be cool, but problemetic with all the record labels involved? A new Bonnie Tyler album would be cool. Song(s) on Rhydian's album. A re-mastered/re-packaged 'Bad For Good' would probably be the easiest option. If it hasn't been done already, Rinkoff could re-master in a few weeks tops, liner notes from Jim, a few new photos, a couple of bonus tracks, and Robert's your father's brother! > What about a Steinman appreciation concert with some of > the artists he's worked with before live on stage? Jim has mentioned a charity gig at RAH for Great Ormand Street, and that is a great idea. Also Jim, Rink & Margoshes are bound to be based in London for a few months; they could put on a couple of 'Bat' cabaret shows here (just piano/vocals)? > I get the feeling that the people that Jim has surrounding > him are waiting for his death so they can cash in and make > a tidy sum of money for themselves.
