Two days ago, I found an email from "a suspect source" (who's name rhymes with "don't be hip, son") in my inbox, claiming that Jim wouldn't be involved with Meat's new album, which would be a blues/3 chords/basic stuff based album, and that Meat was looking for songs everywhere. You and your friend Adam had submitted a song to Meat's agent (said source claims to have set up the contact, or something).
Since it wasn't an anonymous source, I didn't think much of it.
