My theory is that there USED to be some fat guy who was making an album that directly encroached on jim's IP and he was actively spreading mis-information for his own means, and so a lively blog that was being quotes in the press etc was a good means to combat this.
Now, said fat guy has calmed down and is making some other album that has nothing to do with Jim and so blog is less of an issue. And that's not a slight on Jim at ALL. It's just the reality of it. I'd probably do the same.
I wholeheartedly believe that he IS too busy to write a blog entry here and there, because it took a direct threat from one of his old working partners to change his priorities and make him NOT too busy to write a blog entry here and there. Now that threat has gone (well and truly :o) ).
Fairly transparent really. But you can hardly hold any of it against him.
