| Yeah I know I know... it happens. To be COMPLETELY honest I don't give a shit anymore that it was called bat 3. That's just nomenclature, man. If Jim and Meat made an album tomorrow and it was called What art of My Body with fantasy art all over the cover then we'd gobble it up and ask for more and the title wouldn't matter. I'm over any concerns I once had about the semantics of it. What annoys me about it is that it was CLEARLY a rush job. Vocals below par (despite Meat being comparatively in good voice), songwriters whoever happened to be on the first page of Desmond's teledex, guest appearances devised purely for the marketing of the name... And for what!? He's recording another album now anyway!? What was with the rush? > > You're only making me more angry about TMIL... > > > > That clip that was made available from Meatloaf.net of > > Todd pointing out to Desmond how inane the lyrics to If > > God Could Talk are, in which he generally runs Desmond > > round in circles and makes clear how little devotion > > Desmond has in making anything other than 4 or 5 minutes > > bursts of aesthetically trendy noise, tends to put a smile > > on my face when it pops up on Random in iTunes. > > > > And -- call me a conspiracy theorist (and I have been a > > bit of a conspiracy theorist of late) -- why oh why was > > THIS clip put up on Meat's official page?
