| That's really very funny -- were you singing technically correctly?? When I was (attempting) to do Land of the Pig, I redid a million takes for the first verse and chorus and I could hear my voice getting better and better (ie less and less like a pre-pubescent 15 year old drowning in his own spit -- those first takes really weren't pretty) but as I realised my throat was getting more and more and more sore, it occurred to me that I was probably doing untold damage to god knows where in my lungs and throat... So with absolutely no knowledge of how to sing technically correctly and even less desire to end up sounding like Marvin in 30 years time I toned it down a bit. THEN because I put recording the second half of the song off for so long I had to rush it at the end, I didn't have time to get it all pitch "perfect" (for want of a better word) and I sang "sing" sharp pretty much everytime and I had to cut the high note! And I sound like some campy stage actor... I wanted to sound Rock and roll. :o) Sorry I digress. > > How much?
