| In the storyline in the show, Patti plays Meat's girlfriend and then CC comes along and tries to tempt him away. So Patti comes back as the scorned girlfriend singing her song "Bible and a Beer" about Meat's character. Then Meat comes back and tries to 'win Patti back' with "Blind As A Bat", which must work because she's his girlfriend again in "Paradise". Then as the song goes, they get married and end up miserable. But if you follow the show through to "Anything For Love", they reconcile and end the song with a long hug.
