I've never seen Tanz, in the flesh, but I've seen the bootlegs. They, IMO, shit all over Meat in the last 15 years. The last time Meat was good was 1994. After that, I wouldn't pay a cent. I'd pay hundreds to see an English Tanz properly and faithfully translated.

I've heard all the songs before on his live compilations. It hardly ever varies and, when it does, it's usually some covers I don't want to hear. My idea of a Meat Loaf concert worth paying for is one with the hits from the Bats (excluding TMIL) properly done mixed with material from "Dead Ringer" through "Couldn't Have Said It Better". Who wants "More Than You Deserve", "Modern Girl", "Execution Day", "Original Sin", "Left In The Dark" and "Forever Young" in the setlist? I do.
