| The fat bastard Porkington who claims to be better than Meat Loaf isn't going to spend £150 a week at Tesco's anymore on pies to keep his weight up at. Meatloaf impressionist Dean Torkington has vowed never to set foot into Chorley Tesco again after his car was crashed into. The singer from Euxton is far from happy with the response he got from the Foxhole Road store's security chiefs after the accident involving his 'pride and joy' silver Toyota MR2 Roadster. Mr Torkington's wife Maz had called at Tesco on Christmas Eve afternoon to do the Christmas shopping but while she was in the store another car collided with theirs, leaving three huge dents and causing £1,000 worth of damage. Mr Torkington said: "This ruined our Christmas, but the response of Tesco's staff means we won't be shopping there again. They've lost a very good customer, we spend an average £100-£150 a week there - I need to keep my weight up!" Mr Torkington claims that when he rang the store to see if they could help trace the incident on their CCTV, he was initially told they had no cameras and then that the security manager wasn't back in until after Christmas. He said: "We have a no claims bonus of 12 years, but this is the second time it's happened in a supermarket car park and it has ruined our Christmas. "They have signs up saying they don't take responsibility for accidents on the car park and that's fine - but they could still help me out." Now I know you're not supposed to laugh at someone else's misfortune, but this bloke's a wanker and he probably deserved his Christmas being ruined. | |
