I'm tired of hearing people moan about a bad economy. It's so bad, yet my one friend who works in a grocery just bought a 56" plasma TV, another friend with a non-college educated job just spent $300 on an MP3 player, people everywhere are buying Wii's and PS3's, there is a person on my route living in a government paid for Welfare apartment who has the same 65" television I do. This isn't the soup lines of the 30's and it is stupid for people to act like there is a recesion when the economy has not had to consecutive months of negative growth... which is the defenition of a recession. Yes, paying $3.83 for a gallon of gas (that's what I paid this week-- not the over $5 everyone claims) sucks... butwhen adjusted for inflation it isn't worse than Jimmy Carter era gas prices. > ...it still remains popular. > > Anyone else getting tired of listening to people moaning > about petrol and food prices? | |
