About Maggie Reilly, female vocalist on "More" by Sisters of Mercy, I knew a girl with the same name had worked with Mike Oldfield and looking her up it appears to be the same one. It just got me wondering, since to me the Maggie who sings on "More" sounds nothing like the Maggie who does "Moonlight Shadow".
I first thought Maggie on "More" had the voice of a black woman, almost sounding like Gina Taylor from Pandora's Box. Maggie on "Moonlight Shadow" sounds like a twenty-something typical pop vocalist, who accidentally had the best brought of her voice thanks to Oldfield.
Just curious if anybody else has reflected on this.
