I very much doubt that. Most people aren't familiar with these songs, whereas Bat or Paradise are instantly recognisable. This is a TV show so it's all down to what people want to watch; and they seem to want to watch insipid tuneless copies of songs they know well that aren't even that good anyway. Singing an unfamiliar or original song is a sure way of finding yourself on the cutting room floor and not making airplay or through the audition.
