Actually im not even a republican. Obama admitted that he joined the Trinity United Church of Christ to advance himself in the Chicago community but then was so inspired by Rev Wright that he became a devout christian. First off, the Trinity Church openly endorses the "black value system" which calls for blacks to avoid "middle-classness." Secondly, once there was open debate on the nuts at trinity obama ditched the church. His actions demonstrate to me that he never had and doesnt have any particular affinity for the church he joined.
