I think if you like Steinman you would like anything by the German/Swedish band Last Autumn's Dream. Their albums aren't the easiest to get hold of but their latest one, Hunting Shadows, is the best new album I've heard so far this year.
Do yourself a favour and follow the Doctor's advice.
