Don't know if many people here have heard it, but I love William Shatner's 'Has Been' album, especially 'Common People' (see the link).
If 'Kirk' does another album, how about a cover of 'Left In The Dark' with Joe Jackson...I think it could work!
In regards to 'Has Been' there are some great songs...'That's Me Trying', 'Real', 'It Hasn't Happened Yet'...
