I know he's 'consumed' with the Bat musical, but I get the impression that Jim has given-up on writing and/or producing for individual artists/bands?
I wonder if Jim currently has someone actively pitching songs for him or whether he 'aint bothered anymore (he probably doesn't need the money).
I also wonder how many approaches he gets nowadays for songs. I don't believe the 'industry' think he is a 'has been', and I'm sure there are tons of singers that would jump at the chance to record a Steinman original?
In any case, it's a shame he has so many 'babies' locked away, yearning to be set free:
Safe Sex, the Garbo stuff, What Part of My Body, Not Allowed To Love, Paradise Lost, Renegade Angel etc etc
