Great choices. Especially the Foley, Heart and Queen. I consider Alone one of the best songs written. Maybe a counterpart to Left In The Dark.
Love Walks In has always been a favorite Van Hagar track of mine. Maybe it does resemble a Steinman-ish song.
For fun, look up any of Vanilla Ninja's work with David Brandes. It heavily resembles the pop work that Jim did with Bonnie Tyler in the 80's. Specifically the tracks Looking For A Hero, Just Another Day To Live and Destroyed By You.

Brandes has a very pretty full production sound similar to Jim at times.
While looking for the ninja's Hero clip I accidentally ran across a version of Holding Out For A Hero performed by some girl that I had never seen before. Kind of fun amateur stuff.
