| Well, in an attempt to build buzz, I guess. If only they'd had a better buzz-building candidate... Here's what annoys me most about Bat III: I would think that, if they's bothered to put out like a general memo to the songwriting community - "Hey, we're looking for quality Jim Steinmanesque material for a new Meat Loaf record." - I'm sure they would have gotten an album's worth of songs that were actually varying degrees of good, and probably a couple of great ones. Why they restricted themselves to Desmond and co., and went back to the Warren-well another time too many, is beyond me. Again, does no one in Meat's camp have the requisite ear to discern quality Jimitation from bland tripe? He needs to get a new camp. > > The album might have actually done a bit better sales-wise > > if they'd lead with a different song. I still don't know why the title TMIL track was > leaked for all to get for free..WTF? | |
