Yes but surely Cry to Heaven was actually based on Jim's Cry to Heaven demo? See the blog mentioned songs bit. They may never have actually heard Angels Arise. We didn't get to hear it till Bat 3 was done I believe.
Also, Jim mentioned in his blog that according to him Bat 3 would have had Cry to Heaven as the first song. Surely Angels Arise would have been included? I cannot possibly imagine a Bat album starting with what I consider is a "Lost Boys and Golden Girls"-esque ending? I also don't know if Jim actually ever had all these songs available, "Last at Bat", "Paradise Lost", or whether he was trying to intimidate Meat and everybody else. I guess we'll never find out for sure.
