| Per justin: THE YANKS SUCK!!!!! For me it was OVER for them when they didnt get Santana, the best pitcher in all baseball!! Its a SANTANA CURSE that will take RADICAL moves to dispel. Mostly, its not bad pitching, though they do have that, its anemic hitting, esp. 2 outs and behind! Clutch hitting!! So--they suck! Be lucky to finish third! The Sox sorta suck too. not as bad but close. But I think they'll win division by a game or two. Rays second. Its no big deal they went from worst to first. After so MANY dismal seasons, they had acquired enuf First round draft picks to stock any team!! Just needed time to coordinate! ANGELS are a terror, esp. to NY! I think they MIGHT go all the way finally! Pitching amazing! Dodgers and Diamondbacks are retarded. Forget them! Maybe the Cubs VS. the Angels? Yanks should fire Cashman, shoot him if possible! I think give Girardi another year, and desperately try to get CC Sabathia and two strong hitters at least! They deperately need a centerfielder! I would try to trade Cano, Cabrera, Matsui, Hughes, Kennedy, and a few other big names. THANK GOD GIAMBI will be gone! I still LOVE Arod as the HAMLET of baseball!! And his power is still AWESOME! I kind of love the fact he plays AGAINST the game of baseball, not the opposing team. Theres an abstract glory to his game that is both OLYMPIAN and FUTILE simultaneously, but wondrous. They were fools to trade Farnsworth who I ALWAYS felt was a power star if allowed to be!!! NL WEST should be abolished! BTW, best movie of the year, beyond THERE WILL BE BLOOD or NO COUNTRY, is definitely IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH, with a performance by TOMMY LEE JONES that blows DANIEL DAY LEWIS' feral, ferociously brilliant lead in BLOOD to SMITHEREENS!!!!!!!! (Why wasnt there an 80's UK band, THE SMITHEREENS!!!????) There, that enuf Justin? Pudding, I feel no need to prove my REALITY to you! I cant even prove it to myself! Dave, I should have included you among ALL MY FAVES FROM ROCKMAN thru the years, also John Galt. BYE! | |
