| In my opinion, the United Kingdom is the most Jim friendly country on earth. Although I do not wish to offend the wonderful Jim fans in the United States. The Daily Mail has started a television campaign to advertise it's latest free give away albums. This time it's classic 80's albums and they will be including one free album in each newspaper for seven days. One of the albums is Bonnie Tyler's Faster Than The Speed Of Night, which of course includes Total Eclipse of the Heart. The television ad showed a clip from the video. It gave more time to Bonnie than it did to the other artists (Human League, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, Adam and the Ants - gosh, those were fun days for music). The Daily Mail has a readership of more than four million, so we can guarantee that many people will be listening to Jim's music. Four million CDs. Perhaps the producers of Bat Out Of Hell should do a deal with the Daily Mail. They could sell a lot of tickets that way. I noticed that Wikepedia lists Bonnie's genre of music as Wagnerian Rock. Well, there is only one person on the planet who can write Wagnerian Rock. | |
