Don't we all want to hear "The Final At Bat" with Meat singing and Jim producing? Just for curiosity?
Look at it this way. "Batman Begins" was a rejuvenation of the Batman franchise. Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell, The Epic Rock Spectacular could be seen as a rejuvenation of the BOOH franchise. Audiences might have associated Jack Nicholson, one of the highlights of Batman '89, with Joker for a long time. It's the same with Meat Loaf.
Arnold Schwarzenneger won't be in the next Terminator film. It, too, is a reboot. It should be an analogy with Jim's Bat. TMIL was a horrific failure and now we have Jim's version without Meat JUST LIKE "The Dark Knight" with Heath as Joker and NOT JACK NICHOLSON. It's going to work on those terms, I think. Because of the sequels, I think a lot of people might think of BOOH in the sense they would with a Hollywood franchise. Bleh. You know what I mean. Think about it.
