Apparently there are several different Obsidians in the various Peter Pan scripts that have been written over the last three decades. One is Post Apocalyptic New York and the other Post Apocalyptic California. Jim blogged ages and ages ago that Obsidian is New York in the latest script (well, the script that was latest when he blogged). It's possible that he's gone back to California by now.
