The reason I didn't cover this idea is that narrowing it down to one artist is tough, as all of their voices fit, and each would be good for a different reason. Jennifer Hudson -- the prestige of American Idol, Dreamgirls, the Oscar win, and the voice to boot, not to mention the fact that on his blog Jim "loves her voice" Leona Lewis -- the X Factor success and breakthrough would mean that almost automatically she'd be involved with a big producer on her debut, and Jim could be the one to do it Celine Dion -- prior association with Jim, star power to push single over the top Whitney Houston -- still steadily putting out good work in spite of her personal trouble, plus she could do great shit with her voice back in the day Bonnie Tyler -- prior association with Jim, plus...hell, what else has she done lately? This would be something Maybe a Divas type single, a la the celebrity team on the remake of "Lady Marmalade" for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, with each girl having a specific part of the song, maybe even harmonizing on parts. As for Evanescence...well...that sounds like it would of necessity be more hands on because of the close similarity in styles. I mean, the band started because Amy Lee was playing "Anything for Love" on the piano at band-camp and her guitarist met her when he heard her playing it. A celebrity that idolizes Jim's work like that would probably want something more hands on. And remember, we shouldn't distract Jim from the musical. > Second the thought of pillaging "Dead Ringer," which has > some great material that needs to be more heard.
