Jim Sharman ruined Shock Treatment. O'Brien wrote great music and a great script. Sharman didn't like it and told O'brien to keep the songs but write a new script. The new script was OK, but not worthy of RHPS. Then the Strike in Hollywood caused the budget to be cut and they had to change the whole movie again. Shock Treatment is OK, but is not what it coulda/shoulda been.
