Which rigged election are you referring to? I thought that the Bush vs. Gore election was a bit suspect, although can one say that it was rigged? I thought they were neck and neck. If it had been a horse race, they would have declared it a dead heat. Also, the Kennedy vs. Nixon race was very close and there are rumours that Kennedy's father fixed it for his son by doing a deal with the Chicago unions. Without them, Kennedy might have lost. Although I still think that John and Robert were great men who helped America and the world to change for the better. They can't be blamed for what old Joe did.

As far as Brown goes, he is not an elected leader but neither was Gerald Ford. He will have to face an election if he wants to keep his job. Most people in the UK can't wait to get a new PM. I have a feeling that democratic forces will crush Brown. Its only a matter of time. Blair is a brilliant individual (although I didn't like his policies). He jumped ship at just the right time. Leaving poor old Brown with a terrible situation that he is unable to deal with.
