Buckwins, I'm not sure why you would need Steinman/Rinkoff's involvement to do a tribute show. As discussed below, most of the show is subject to compulsery licensing -- so payment, but not permission is required. This includes all of Jim's hits. Contacting David Sonnenberg may make sense if you want to use the OTT trademark or perform the "new songs" or somehow use Jim's likeness or image to promote your concert. Otherwise, I think you may just add complexity and burden. Obviously, I'd love to see another TDE or OTT style show, but you should be warned that they set a pretty high standard. Jim and Steve and Steve did a terrific job on arrangements and sound for the Mohegan Sun shows. Jim's presense is irreplaceable, as well.
