Maybe. I think both of the people who just participated in the presidential debate tonight are arguably full of shit... but, one will end up with a presidential seal and the other with a hell of a book deal! :) But, I *do* understand what you are saying and you've always been great at telling it like it is. If someone is completely disconnected with reality and lying to themselves and others then that's a problem. You are correct that shitting in one's hand and telling everyone you're holding a gold nugget doesn't make you King Midas. I simply meant that at the age of 16 or 18 a lot of people are charlatans/posers/wannabes on the road to becomming something more. Perhaps, I might have been a bit less sympathetic if the poster had issued a fantasy press release when he was 35 instead of 15. It just seemed like he was getting reamed a bit too hard for wanting to play dream along with the guy who started the thread, who kind of came off as a charlatan himself. I just didn't want some kid to be too ashamed to return and enjoy Steinman talk. Then, again, I don't remember the original controversy you refer to. -=John Galt=- | |
