| Firstly big thanks to Evilnickname. Just listened to your uploads from the Elvis Tribute show, marking yesterdays birthday of the person responsible for inspiring Dean Porkington. Listening to him was actually enjoyable, His voice suited singing them and was impressed by all three songs, previously I only heard him sing a section of Jailhouse Rock in a medley on the Live At Wembley album (which was strangely dropped when the same tracks were released on Alive In Hell!) And if the next album isn't a success he could fall back on a career as an Elvis impersonator. And Porkington could have a new angle impersonating an Elvis impersonator. I don't think Tesco have that many cheeseburgers though.... The next one goes out to Daveake about his earlier T-shirts thread. Are plans still being made for these Dave? The wallets getting leaner by the day and sooner or later I might get drastic and buy food, pay bills or some or crazy siht! The T-shirt would be chock-full of more steinman-goodness anyway, engorged almost :) And finally I'll open this one to the board. Recently and finally got round to buying the Pandora's Box remasterd CD with DVD. Love Jim's opening of her box by the way. The Want Ad always made me wet myself with both fear and laughter when I heard it but Jim doing it is mind-blowingly wrong on so many levels, it's were it should be over the top. Jims joke made me think about Spiderpig from the simpsons movie for some reason. If I was Jim I'd want my royalties backdated 16yrs for that lol Anyway's, back on track, with the great quality of the Pandora's Box videos I've been wondering if the Bad For Good promo's, made available for download in RM format on Dream Pollution (thanks JD), are out there in original, albeit 1981 VHS, Technicolor glory? I can't see a Bad For GOod re-mastered limited edition pack happen anytime soon (although I say WHY THE HELL NOT MR FANCY PANTS SONY-BMG MAN!!!??) so my question would be does a clear copy exist somewhere in Steinland? Even the rm files on Dream Pollution had to have a source somewhere, right? Had a million other random thought's I wanted to get down but like heaven, they can wait :D Thanks in advance to those that get more than half-way through, bored or move on. Deeko | |
