I really think that quote has been edited... when have we ever known Meat to be this eloquent and short??? no doubt he did a lot of mumbling and they only quoted the 'selling' stuff, namely that where he mentions his fans.
It is really rare for Meat not to mention Jim as the genius behind the songs... unless he claims he writes them himself, that is... so I do have hopes for the award ceremony.
Q not inviting or contacting Jim themselves sure is an omission, but then again... when any other singer is presented an award for a song they sang into the charts but didn't write... nobody seems to expect them to mention the writer....
