So after listening to the clip of Meat Loaf in Linkoping, I got depressed by how his voice makes Dead Ringer sound like unicorns and rainbows.
So I did what any bored Rockman reader would do -- I sang some karaoke. I've uploaded me singing "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)". I experimented with two voices on this one: a higher one that's reminiscent of the original (though a little strained), and a lower one added to keep it interesting (I especially like how they weave together at the end).
One take, unedited, so don't complain if it doesn't sound good. :-D My natural voice is about halfway between the two voices I used; I've uploaded a short clip to demonstrate.
The piano is from a video by YouTube user Stilicho74. I don't know if he posts on this board or not, but he's really good. Go check him out because my sucky microphone doesn't do him justice.
