You didn't see Pink Floyd recording another album during the 1990s through to the death of Richard Wright. It's the same thing. Meat Loaf is the past and, like David Gilmour said, it would only feel retrogressive to return there. Besides, if you're going to release a song, and especially if you want it to succeed, you need A SINGER who can SING.
