He never even mentioned "Midnight At The Lost And Found" was A Demo in "To Hell And Back". And why does he have sudden respect for "Blind Before I Stop" when none of the tracks were even included on "The Very Best Of Meat Loaf". He praised "Back Into Hell" to the rafters at the time and now he says he doesn't care for it. OK, 15 years can change one's perspective but get a load of this... In his private messages to me, he came across as a man determined to make "The Monster Is Loose" happen. Not once did he give the impression that the record company was pushing him to make this album. Why not just say that and people like me would have understood? His detractors, "the saboteurs", who flamed the whole project when it was announced with non-Jim involvement. From my experience, it sounded like HE wanted this to happen NOT the record company. In my view, the record company just wants him to retire (Can you blame them with all the label changes?) And now he bashes his greatest hits, ones that he can't even sing anymore anyway (Perhaps that's why he dislikes them. Because he went on youtube and saw how much he was mangling them.) Why can't he just retire and do movies? | |
