I remember him being interviewed on Radio 1 about the time of the streets of fire soundtrack in the UK. He said he was in the process of putting together a younger group as he was tired of all the old guys doing the work, but acknowledging the talent playing on the streets of fire tracks, eg bruce springsteen's and elton johns band members. He said the group would have female singers and and was interviewing thousands. He said it would be like a sort of a 'hard rock abba' - lots of tight leather outfits (I think he also used the phrase 'a female version of duran duran and mentioned taking it on tour). I assume that became the slightly more understated Pandoras box. He also commented on his recent work with Barbara Streisand and Barry Manilow. I have it on audio cassette somewhere and will seek to dig out and upload at some stage
