| Hi Guys, I have just looked up that new album by Asia. I'll be ordering it too. I am Left In The Dark however, on this post regarding A.L.O. What song is this? I have gone through all the albums on Amazon and can not find a track with this title. Could you give a codger a few more clues? Thanks. > Btw, they have a brand new album out with their original > and best voice which IŽll buy - today. > > Markus > > > Love this song, especially the keyboards and BV's. > > > > I'm not sure if he has any involvement > > (arranging/producing) with this demo, but it does have a > > Delta House/Deadringer vibe to it. > > > > The drummer Bev Bevan was the main driving force behind > > ELO 2, and the song was co-written by John Payne, who was > > lined up to be the vocalist. > > > > Jim was recruited to produce and was obviously played > > demos by the group, and even offered them 'Anything For > > Love'. > > > > I think Jim was onboard for a few months, but couldn't > > agree terms with their manager (the infamous) Don Arden. > > > > > > I think it was after Jim was no longer involved that he > > suggested Eric Troyer to them, as they were looking for a > > writer/singer. > > > > As with a lot of Steinman projects, shame this didn't > > work-out; would love to have heard his production on > > A.L.O. > > > > > > > I'm still confused, though.
